The Vega Little Wonder banjo is a classic example of craftsmanship from the Golden Age of banjo manufacturing in the United States. Vega, a renowned banjo maker, produced these instruments during the early to mid-20th century, and they remain highly sought after by musicians and collectors alike.

This model is in excellent playable condition for its age. Irish tuned but can be tuned Jazz or Chicago also. Fitted with new strings.

Fairbanks Vega No2 Plectrum Whyte Laydie Plectrum Banjo (1925).

This is an incredibly well looked-after plectrum banjo from the 1920's. Freshly set-up in our workshop, it plays and sounds superb.

2005 Deering Deluxe 5 String Banjo featuring cast bronze tonering and a refinished resonator. Nickel plating is still in great condition and the whole banjo has been very well looked after.

W.E Temlett Vintage Old Time 5 String Banjo from the late 1800's/early 1900's

Features include a weaver style heal, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, mother of pearl fret dot markers and original friction tuners. Its also fitted with nylon strings

This banjo has been had a new goat skin vellum, 2 footed bridge and Aquila classic banjo nylon strings. String tension is quite low so a light touch is needed.

A Super Deluxe version of the Prucha Old Time banjo fitted with a White Ladye tone ring. Jaroslav Prucha designed and created this ‘Old Time’ music style banjo back in 1990 by request from his friends playing old time music in the Netherlands. It has since become a world best selling Prucha banjo. The design aim for Jaroslav, was to create a sweet, gentle sounding banjo with a full depth of tone …Much experimentation took place, The desired end result was achieved after many prototype models were built and played by prominent Ole Time banjo players. This banjo is an excellent choice for frailing and clawhammer styles and has a modest price tag for a professional banjo of this flawless quality.

A once in a lifetime banjo!

Very rare 1994 Deering GDL 5 String banjo Gold Plated and Tree of Life inlay work.

This is a stunning banjo and a real collector's piece as well as a great sounding banjo.

Generally in mint condition (including the immaculate gold plating) apart from some scuffing on the edge of the resonator possibly caused by a stand and some cracking of the gloss on the back of the resonator which is normal for its age.

Inspired by master banjoist Bill Emerson, the Red Fox is one of the best selling Stelling models. One of a very small number of instruments made by the superb maker Barry Murphy in Bournemouth featuring a curly maple pot, Dobson tone ring, 12" fybreskin head, beautiful abalone custom inlays, a Snuffy Smith 1/2" bridge, armrest and a unique internal resonator with F holes made of flamed maple. Also features a spliced uniquely profiled neck (see images)
