Bacon Custom Made Open Back 5 String Banjo with Gig Bag - Commission Sale
Hand made in 2009, a fine replica of a 1920s Bacon FF Professional Internal Resonator banjo.
One of a very small number of instruments made by the superb maker Barry Murphy in Bournemouth featuring a curly maple pot, Dobson tone ring, 12" fybreskin head, beautiful abalone custom inlays, a Snuffy Smith 1/2" bridge, armrest and a unique internal resonator with F holes made of flamed maple. Also features a spliced uniquely profiled neck (see images)
