Legendary fiddle player Dave Swarbrick uses a P7H carbon fibre bow. Carbon model, high tensile carbon composite stick, ebony frog with full nickel mounts, Parisienne eye and abalone slide. P&H, England, bows are now accepted by many professionals and teachers for consistent quality at a very reasonable price. All P&H bows feature natural white horsehair and simulated whalebone lapping.

The Knoll workshops, founded in Germany in 1932, are run by Hartmut Knoll, son of the late Alfred Knoll, together with several members of his family. Some eight master bowmakers and apprentices are employed in the workshops which are renowned for their consistent quality in student and fine master bows.
