The Ozark 2240E electro mandolin features a distinctive Celtic knot sound hole, a design that is picked up by matching wooden fingerboard inlays. It is made of solid wood construction with a solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides and fitted with a diecast tailpiece. The mandolin has a satin finish which enhances the natural beauty of the wood and a mahogany neck with 20 fret rosewood fingerboard. The Barnes & Mullins Wimborne mandolin is an A-Style mandolin named after Wimborne in the English county of Dorset. It was during the late 19th century that Albert Mullins and S Bowley Barnes first met in the town of Wimborne and formed the friendship upon which the next few decades of performance and business would be founded.
