I play Blues Harmonica and have only ever used Hohner products to date. I'm currently developing my over blow bend skills and found the Hohner seem to struggle with excessive use on the 10 hole. Seydel have stainless steel reeds which I understand are more robust than the brass reeds used by Hohner. The Seydel in my opinion has a warmer sound than the Hohner (Crossover) but needs a bit more input in playing, possibly more difficult to do standard bends on holes 1 to 6. The holes in the Seydel appear to be ever so slightly larger than the Hohner ones. I use tongue block method. Seydel does have a nice quality feel to it but it would be better if they supplied it with a fabric zippered case like Hohner.
