I purchased a Tanglewood 5 string banjo from Eagle Music Shop. It arrived double boxed and in line with the emails I'd had. The banjo was well set up and playable with a tiny amount of tuning. I'm enjoying following Janet Davis' book trying to teach myself how to play.

The clincher for me on my first banjo was the free setup, and though I’m a novice I am an experienced guitar player and knew the setup was excellent. The staff were very helpful, and I am thrilled with my ‘Albert’ banjo. I would (and already have) recommend eagle music wholeheartedly. Thanks guys!

First class service from the outset when I rang to discuss options for a 6 string banjo through the ordering procedure. Sadly the couriers were disorganised with very poor communication leading to considerable delay but that wasn’t Eagle’s fault. The Deering Goodtime was perfect for my needs and I’m loving it!

I ordered a better strap for my banjo, and got a clawhammer book at the same time. Previously I'd bought my banjo from the shop. In both cases the service was first class and the goods arrived in excellent condition, as it had been thoughtfully packed. Others I have spoken to about the shop also have said its a great place with great staff. Long may it continue.

Well the shop itself is quite a few miles from my home but the drive there is certainly worth it. The staff there were very friendly and helpful. I bought a banjo. Then I decided to try different picks, but I didn't need to make another journey; I went to their online shop, found what I wanted (very good price) and easily ordered. They were delivered promptly and I'm now very happy. I recommend Eagle Music Shop very highly 👍
