thanks to this book I've managed within around 30 minutes to play a (albeit small part of) recognizable tune. I think I might finally learn to play an instrument

Purchased for daughter who already has a good knowledge of music theory, but by using well known songs she was playing tunes within minutes on her new harp.

This beginner's manual is excellent. It meets my needs exactly, being written for absolute beginners such as myself. I would therefore recommend this product for other beginners, and for those who haven't played in a while for a refresher, in case any bad habits in technique have crept in.
