A complete pack, with an all solid octave mandola featuring a solid spruce top and solid maple back and sides. This starter pack includes the Ozark 2223 octave mandola, a padded black nylon gig bag with double padded shoulder straps & zip-up accessory pouch, a fully chromatic 'clip-on' tuner, a bouzouki/octave mandola chord book Plus a spare set of hand-crafted Eagle-Puretone strings (tuned in unison pairs as on the instrument) and two gauged teardrop plectrums.

Very simple single button design. The excellent Fzone FT-15 clip on chromatic tuner. Very simple to use with a single selector button for on/off and also mode selection. Suitable for any stringed instrument including banjo, guitar, ukulele, violin and others. It just simply clips on to the headstock of your instrument and picks up the vibration to register the exact tuning of your instrument. Please see more details below. The Ozark 'Romania' is an exceptional ALL SOLID TIMBER value octave mandola. It is built and hand finished in Romania. The back and sides are made from solid maple, fitted with a solid spruce soundboard.
The soundboard has a traditional mandolin inlay around the sound-hole. It has a maple and ebony bridge and a maple neck with slotted headstock. The back facing open-plate geared tuners are geared. It is fitted with loop ended strings. You get excellent tone and volume at a fraction of the cost of what you normally pay for an all solid timber instrument. finished in a modern durable lacquer.
