An album with new compositions written in the style of Irish, Scottish and English folk music featuring an array of jigs, reels, hornpipes and strathspeys. As a bonus the book contains an inserted part; a second line for recorder, flute, violin, accordion or other melody instrument. The CD has been recorded live by experienced musicians and is very appealing. The demo tracks evoke the right mood, while each example is followed by play-along tracks featuring the fine accompaniment and the second part: it’s a real joy to play along.
