This book is for beginning and early intermediate mandolin players and no prior playing experience or note reading ability is required. The solos are written in both standard notation and tablature and whilst writing the arrangements, the author considered the small hands of children. Each tune is in the first position and there are no stretches that present inordinate technical difficulties.
Every song in the book is included on the online audio link. The tunes are recorded at a moderate speed and include count-off notes and rhythm guitar accompaniment.
