Weighing in at only 7 lbs, the Little Wonder banjo is a traditional style instrument, with a sweetness and purity of tone that gives both the professional and beginning banjoist a fabulous sounding banjo that is light, fast and easy to play. The stained violin grade maple neck and 3-ply maple rim are the same as the popular Vega Little Wonder, We combined a resonator with a traditional 24-piece butterfly flange to facilitate the strong projection demanded by bluegrass, country and folk musicians. Any style of music can be played on it whether you are strumming, or fingerpicking. If you want strong tone with lighter weight, this banjo is ideal for you.

The responsive Vega Bluegrass Wonder - Has Deering planetary geared nickel plated tuners, a geared fifth string tuner, a black peghead overlay with white Vega letters and Vega 'Star' inlaid in headstock face, mother of pearl dots on the ebony fingerboard, and a satin finish.

The pot assembly is constructed with a premium quality 3-ply solid violin maple rim, nickel-plated hardware, strong brackets shoe construction, a 24-piece flange, a top frosted head, one piece armrest, and an adjustable tailpiece. All of these elements combine to make this a banjo that is bright, versatile, and able to respond to the demands of the hard-driving bluegrass player and other styles of banjo playing alike.
