The superb Deering Golden Era banjo, designed and built to resemble the most sought after 5-string banjo of the pre-war era. With the Deering -06- 20 hole bronze tone ring. Play this banjo and you will be hooked! It has amazing presence, tone and volume along with a traditional neck shape for sustain, power and tone.
Spikes fitted at 7,9 and 10th frets and also fitted with Schaller Keith pattern tuners (original tuners included)
2013 Model and supplied with Deering ABS hard case
This banjo has just been completely refinished by Deering and is in excelent condition (some tarnishing of the nickel on the armrest)

Adorned with a traditional hearts & flowers inlay pattern, this banjo has the appearance and feel of the prized banjos from the 1930's. It is designed to produce the most sought-after sound, a sound previously only achieved by five-string banjos of the pre-war era. This beautiful banjo has a Genuine Deering -06- 20-hole bell bronze tone ring. The drum assembly and neck shape are designed for the traditional crisp and strong bass notes as well as the distinct clear high tones of the cherished bluegrass sound.
