Royal Mail announce changes to Special Delivery and Customer Service Points.
In light of the recent advice given by the government regarding COVID-19, please be aware of the following announcement from Royal Mail advising of changes to their services.
Due to increased absence levels, we’ve reviewed our timed guarantees for Special Delivery Guaranteed by 9am and 1pm services and will make the following changes.
For items posted from Tuesday 31 March 2020 onwards, our guarantee delivery for Special Delivery Guaranteed by 9.00am the next working day will change to by 12.00pm the next working day*. Our guaranteed delivery for Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1.00pm will change to by 9.00pm the next working day*.
We will endeavor to ensure that all orders are speedily processed. Our 'Next Day' delivery service operates for UK mainland customers.
As part of our commitment to a greener environment, Eagle Music Shop will recycle packaging wherever possible.
Shipping and packing charges:
The maximum you will have to pay for the largest UK mainland order is £7.99.
The lowest you will pay for the smallest UK mainland order is £0.99.
Free delivery on orders over £100 is only applicable to UK mainland addresses on a One Day Service. Scottish Highlands, Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Jersey and Ireland are not included as these are a Two Day Service.
Your goods will be very carefully and professionally packed and fully insured in transit against loss or damage
All UK larger instrument orders (guitars, banjos etc.) will be shipped by 'DPD Local' on a 'Next Day Service', (Scottish Highlands, Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Jersey and Ireland are a 'Two Day Service'). Fully Insured against loss or damage. The 'Next Day' delivery will be the day following dispatch for mainland UK orders. This service also provides a text message on the day of delivery with your hours delivery time slot.
Smaller items will be shipped by Royal Mail services (various options available at checkout stage). Our website will calculate your shipping costs. (We shall inform you if there is a shipping problem).
Order placed before 12:00pm Monday - Friday will be despatched normally the same day if the items are in stock. Orders placed after 12:00pm cannot be guaranteed to go out the same day.
NB : Orders sent by DPD Local Next Day Service on Friday's will be delivered on the Monday.
You will be informed immediately if there is any problem with any part of your order or if any item is 'out of stock'.
NB : Orders processed on a Saturday will not leave us until the Monday as Royal Mail and DPD Local do not collect from us at the Weekend.
European and International Orders
Larger Parcels to Europe will be shipped by DPD Classic and small parcels by Royal Mail Interntional Standard.
