The Banjo Ukulele (Banjolele) was first conceived in the early 1900's as a solution to the lack of volume of their wooden bodied counter part, the Ukulele. Popularized by George Formby in the in 1930s there has been a resurgence of popularity in these fantastic instruments. The best factory made Gibson copy models are made by Gold Tone & Ozark and are available here at the Eagle Music Shop along with vintage era models as we aquire and find them!
