All brass bodied tenor resonator guitar with lipstick pickup and tone and volume controls. Also features a mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard.

Vintage 'Made in USA' Harmony tenor guitar..all original and very rare. Made around late 1950's early 60's. Very good structural condition with no major issues and a big sound! Features all solid birch top, back and sides (made to look like spruce top and flamed maple back and sides), adjustable rosewood bridge, original tortoise shell scratchguard, original brass frets with no fret wear,original plate geared tuners. Fitted with new strings, tuned GDAD but can be tuned Jazz (CGDA), Irish (GDAE) or Chicago (DGBE) Supplied in a hard case.

The superb Buchanan Tenor guitar is truly unique in every aspect of its design. As you would expect the workmanship and materials used on this instrument are of excellent quality. The top is solid spruce and whilst the Rosewood and Maple bound back & sides are constructed from Pink Ivory wood which is similar to Mahogany in appearance and tonality. The neck is constructed from Mahogany with a rosewood finger board, Rosewood peg face and pearl dot position markers. Tuning is simplicity itself with the Chrome plated, fully enclosed Gotoh machine heads. Another unique feature of this Tenor guitar is that it has been designed in such a manner so to accommodate GDAE (or Irish tuning) well as the usual CGDA tenor guitar tuning. This Guitar can be supplied with either of the above tunings. These guitars are made to order, check with us for approx build time.
