A brilliant sounding octave mandola from the excellent British luthier Thomas Buchanan. Finely appointed 'Flat Top' instrument with solid Rosewood back and sides and a solid red cedar soundboard. Also features a rosewood headstock faceplate and coral snake style purfling.

Description
This instrument is finely appointed with grade 'AAA' solid timbers and fine workmanship including a Buchanan custom designed rosette and truss rod cover, multiple hardwood side binding, rosewood heel cap, and MOP fingerboard side and top position markers. The headstock is faced in rosewood with the Buchanan insignia. The mahogany neck is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard and inlaid with mother of pearl dot markers.
It has a solid red cedar soundboard with a solid rosewood back and sides.
The instrument is double (unison) strung.
