Full description

Description

The octave mandola is tuned one octave below the mandolin. It is a favourite with Irish tenor banjo and mandolin players that can adopt the same G D A E fingering for playing chords and tunes. It is an excellent session instrument for chord work or solo tune playing.

This hand built 'Buchanan' instrument has a scale length of about 500mm making it one of the shortest in the market.
