The Tenor Bell-Shaped String ukulele pays homage to the Concert Bell ukulele, originally designed by Sam Kamaka Jr. for renowned ukulele artist Herb Ohta Sr. The Tenor Bell boasts a bigger sound than the Concert Bell with even greater depth and tone due to the larger Tenor body size. The Tenor Bell-Shaped String ukulele is a favorite of Kamaka artist Herb Ohta Jr., and is made in the same vein as the Concert Bell 4-String ukulele, inspired by his father, with its larger bottom resulting in a rich, deep tone.

The Kamaka family has been dedicated to building skillfully-handcrafted ukuleles since 1916, almost a century of dedication to quality. The HB-3 is a beautiful hand crafted tenor bell shaped ukulele with an unmatched Hawaiian sound. The heritage of ukulele making at Kamaka Hawaii is preserved by second and third generation Hawaiian luthiers, as well as the many talented craftsmen at the Kakaako factory in Honolulu. Each Kamaka ukulele has its own individual Serial Number.
Each individual Kamaka ukulele is a heritage hand crafted, highest quality instrument with the pure traditional Hawaiian tone. this heirloom quality instrument is supplied complete with a Kamaka Custom hard shell case.
