Upon receiving the instrument, the set up provided was second to none and my banjo was ready to play after unboxing (minus me having to tweak the tuning from open G to Double C, which was no fault of Eagle Music) being a definite upgrade from my previous banjo!
When I first picked up the AC-12, I was a little bit disappointed at how rough in texture the neck felt. I was of course comparing it to the CC100R and my Maton and Stonebridge guitars which I handle daily. This was obviously not a fair comparison and having owned and played the banjo for a couple of weeks now, I no longer notice it. The sound and feel of the banjo are just what I was after and I am very pleased with my purchase. It stays in tune well and is inexpensive enough to take out and about without worry.
