The Moonlight is ODE's entry-level model. It is made with the same quality materials and craftsmanship that they put into all of their banjos, but with no frills. The 12” Moonlight features a slightly heavier, curly maple multi-ply rim, heavy notched brass tension hoop, 26 rim brackets, and a solid cherry and ebony neck to give a rich and powerful 19th Century vintage banjo tone that is a dream to play and built to last.

The new cherry version of the popular Vega Vintage Star features a quartersawn cherry neck and a 3-ply cherry rim. The cherry wood gives the banjo a distinctively classy reddish hue which will darken over time with a gorgeous patina. The beautiful aesthetics isn't the only thing the cherry wood brings to this banjo. It also gives the banjo a bit warmer tone than the standard maple version, while still maintaining plenty of brilliance.

What a great looking banjo! The Deering Goodtime Leader ‘Ebony Duke’ has a higher specification than the standard ‘Goodtime’ banjo. It is an excellent banjo with a USA rock maple neck set up for playing all styles, it is lightweight and easy to handle and carry for travelling if needed. The depth of sound from the Ebony Duke is enhanced by the thicker Mylar Ebony Deering banjo head. The three ply solid violin maple rim is the same quality as found on pre war Mastertone banjos. The Goodtime Blackgrass is the ultimate banjo for players looking for something a little on the darker side. The pure black stain of the all maple wood is accented with matte black hardware and a black head which combine to put a dark twist on an otherwise traditional instrument. Gold Tone brings back the high-quality, low-priced beginner Bluegrass banjo! The AC-5 combines full-range sound, super playability and outstanding durability. The sound is due in no small measure to the AC-5's modern composite shell. This strong, resonant material is light in weight but high in stiffness and trouble-free. The Deering Goodtime Leader ‘Carolina King' electro is our top of the range, highest specification Goodtime ‘Special’ Banjo, primarily designed for hard driving bluegrass and picking styles, also fitted with the superb Kavanjo pickup system. The set-up on this banjo is influenced by the Carolina King himself, Jens Kruger! It is an excellent natural maple closed back resonator banjo fitted with the NEW Deering patent pending 2010 tone ring. It has Deering railroad capo spikes fitted at the 7th, 9th and 10th frets to facilitate easy key changes for different tunings. Also fitted to this excellent banjo is a set of JK hand-crafted Eagle-Puretone strings. The three ply violin maple rim is the same quality as found on pre-war Mastertone banjos.

The Americana is the first 5-string banjo from Deering to be fitted with their new Grand 12” rim, which gives the banjo a stronger bass response and a much warmer tone. The fullness and warmth of the larger rim is further enhanced by the addition of a 12” Renaissance head which beautifully complements the banjo both visually and sonically. An A-scale short neck version of our popular AC-1 5-string banjo. The composite makes it very durable. The size makes it lightweight and easy to transport, which is perfect for travelling, taking to the beach or for a child to play on. Includes gig bag.

The Gold Tone HM-100 “High Moon” old-time banjo was designed to satisfy the modern clawhammer banjoist’s desire for a full-featured and wonderful-sounding banjo at a most affordable price.

Resembling the banjeaurines of old, this short scale (23.5") version of the AC-12 has seventeen frets and is tuned to A (a whole step higher that a standard banjo). The short, scooped neck is built just like its longer sibling and on the same pot assembly as the AC-12. Handmade in North Carolina, USA the Rambler Special is similar to the Rambler Dobson but with a few upgrades.  This banjo is available with an aged brass or copper rim. The softer metals give this banjo a little warmer tone while maintaining sustain and projection.  Another upgrade to this banjo is the Pisgah Hawktail tailpiece. This allows for more downward pressure on the bridge so that there is better clarity on each note. All hardware made in USA by Pisgah.
