The Gold Tone BG-150F brings the beautiful appearance of the great pre-WWII banjos to a new, lower price point. This banjo offers the player the lovely hearts-and-flowers fretboard inlay and the fully-bound neck and fourteen-inch resonator of the Gold Tone BG-250F combined with lightweight playing comfort (made possible by installing a quarter-inch brass-rod tone ring rather than the nearly three-pound bell brass ring in the BG-250F). Little is lost in sound quality or power, and long gigs played standing up become much more bearable. Supplied with a gig bag! 

Gold Tone brings back the high-quality, low-priced beginner Bluegrass banjo! The AC-5 combines full-range sound, super playability and outstanding durability. The sound is due in no small measure to the AC-5's modern composite shell. This strong, resonant material is light in weight but high in stiffness and trouble-free. Coupled with the resonator back, the AC-5 produces a punchy fourth-string bark and clear ringing high notes. You can't find a better first banjo.

A Modern remake of the original Gibson RB3 model 'The Banger' played by JD Crowe with the no hole tonering. The OB-3 Twanger was born.
