 The Closed back Banjo Uke is an affordable alternative to the Gold Tone Banjolele series. Tuned GCEA for the concert or Tenor and DGBE for the Baritone, this model features a maple neck, bound rosewood fingerboard, geared tuners, a single adjustable coordinator rod, and Flat plate-style resonator. The Deering Goodtime Leader Maple Prince has a higher specification than the standard Goodtime banjo. It is fitted with a set of back facing Planetary Geared Deering Classic banjo tuning pegs and inlaid black side dot neck position markers. It is an excellent open back banjo with a USA rock maple neck and is set up for playing all styles, it is lightweight and easy to handle and carry for travelling if needed. The sound from this banjo is incredible! The three ply solid violin maple rim is the same quality as found on pre-war Mastertone banjos.

The Gold Tone BG-150F brings the beautiful appearance of the great pre-WWII banjos to a new, lower price point. This banjo offers the player the lovely hearts-and-flowers fretboard inlay and the fully-bound neck and fourteen-inch resonator of the Gold Tone BG-250F combined with lightweight playing comfort (made possible by installing a quarter-inch brass-rod tone ring rather than the nearly three-pound bell brass ring in the BG-250F).
