The Left Handed Ozark 2001 is an exceptional all solid timber mandolin. It is built and hand finished in Romania. The back and sides are made from solid maple, fitted with a solid spruce soundboard.

The Ozark 2001 is an all solid timber mandolin. It is built and hand finished in Romania. The back and sides are made from solid maple, fitted with a solid spruce soundboard.

Features include highly flamed solid hand-carved maple back & sides, ebony fretboard & bridge, bone nut, fully bound body,fretboard & headstock. The MD815PGE-HB has a high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish.

Northfield Wavelength Short Scale Octave Mandola. For the mandolin player who wants that octave mandola tone without the stretch. Traditionally octaves usually have a scale length of around 21-22", the Northfield Wavelength is 19". This means the gauges are slightly heavier than normal to get the tension at that shorter scale length.
