Seydel Harmonicas

Seydel and Eagle Music have a close relationship that goes back many years. Right back in the early days of Eagle Music when our owners met with Lars Seifert, who is the company chairman and originally hails from Klingethal, Germany where Seydel are based. It was clear that we wanted to supply their excellent harmonicas and they are now one of our favourite brands.

Seydel produces many different types of harmonicas for the beginner to the accomplished player and in all formats of the instrument and are chosen by some of the world's best players. Brendan Power, who is widely regarded as one of the world’s leading harmonica innovators, has worked very closely with Seydel over the years.

If you are looking to play Classical or Jazz or just want more range then the Chromatic Deluxe should be on your radar. Alternatively if you are wanting the very best then the Seydel Lightning with its polished aluminium comb or the 12 or 16 hole Symphony model, the ‘Grand Chromatic’ will be your choice, both class leading harmonicas.

The term ‘Sounds stronger, lives longer’ was coined by Seydel when they introduced pretty much one of the only manufacturers to produce stainless steel reeds on harmonicas.
