Used 2010 Deering Boston Left Handed 5 string model with ornate Greg Deering pearl & maple inlays. This professional banjo has a 3/16" thick steel rim which rings out loud and clear with a sound similar to a bronze tone ring. The Boston design is unique to Deering and provides you with a top quality banjo at an affordable price. Please see below for specification details. 

Note, the banjo is in very good condition for its age with not much fret wear. There is a chip at the very top of the headstock on the back,see images. Also fitted with a new Deering 5/8" smile bridge.

Very well made replica banjo/example of a Gibson RB3 5 string banjo. Features a maple pot with Mastertone style 40 hole cast bronze tone ring and a Gibson badged (replica) neck made in highly flamed maple, flying eagle inlays, railroad spikes fitted at 7,8,9 and 10th frets and also features official USA made Keith D-tuners. Used Deering Sierra 19 fret tenor banjo. Features a Deering cast bronze 'no hole' tonering (very rare) which gives it a very punchy and loud tone with plenty of sustain, One piece nickel plated flange, planetary tuners and a full Eaglemusic setup and restring. No case supplied

Note this banjo has had a neck repair in our workshop and is solid. Playability is not affected.

Used, but In mint condition, this Winston Marshall Signature Model by Deering is, in his own words, the ultimate touring banjo. Every detail of this banjo has a purpose. Some are by necessity - features that he has adopted over the last eight years of playing Deering Eagle II banjos on some of the biggest stages on the planet. Others are personal aesthetics, revealing a glimpse into the mind of the man who has arguably bought banjo to the forefront of modern popular culture more than anyone before him. Note the case has some scuff and scratch marks on it but nothing too severe.

Used 2005 Deering Maple Blossom 5 String Banjo featuring a fibreskyn head signed by Greg and Janet Deering and a quality leather Deering embossed strap, supplied with Deering hardshell case.

The Roanoke combines a slightly more ornate peghead overlay with the rich color of walnut and the simplicity of a nickel-plated banjo. The striking, figured walnut resonator with its contrasting inlaid wood rings makes for an instrument that is as much a treat for the eyes as it is the ears.

The walnut neck imparts a sweet tone with a clarity which only walnut can give. Both the neck and the resonator are stained with a natural walnut finish and bound in white/black/white. The neck is inlaid with the original Huber pattern and the pot is built using the Huber Engineered rim and the Huber HR-30 tone ring.

Early Clifford Essex Paragon 19 Fret Tenor Banjo in original condition. A bit of fret wear on the first string but overall very good for such an old classic model. The wooden blocks inside the resonator have been removed by previous owners and there is some wear to the fingerboard at the last few frets. Also the resonator side walls at the top and botton have a slight gap. New white smooth top head and strings. See below for details.

The Vega Little Wonder banjo is a classic example of craftsmanship from the Golden Age of banjo manufacturing in the United States. Vega, a renowned banjo maker, produced these instruments during the early to mid-20th century, and they remain highly sought after by musicians and collectors alike.

This rare Vega Tubaphone X Style 22-fret tenor banjo was made in the USA in 1920.

It features a 12'' pot (which priobably fits a modern 11 13/16'' head), an ebony fingerboard with minor fretwear and beautifully intricate Vega inlays and carved neck heel.

The awesome Greg Deering Limited Edition Banjo ...Curly & burl walnut, super deluxe ornate Deering special custom shop banjo. With Deering -06- 20 hole bronze tone ring. Crafted in 1927, this Paramount A-Style Plectrum Banjo is a vintage instrument of exceptional craftsmanship and distinct tonal qualities. This A-style model features a resonant tone and intricate fretboard inlays characteristic of the Roaring Twenties banjo design.
