The classic curve of this harmonica makes it especially easy-to-hold. This model offers a strong, full-bodied sound. The larger sound holes on this model make the ‘overblow’ technique easier to accomplish.

Excellent sound and great for note bending. Easy to play single notes (with a bit of practice)but not as easy as Rachelle Plas makes it look. Highly recommended!

A new Hohner harp for me, bought to test as I get back into playing. Sounds good, and feels more comfortable in both hands and mouth, than the classic shapes.

The rounded full-length covers make the Golden Melody just about the most comfortable ten-hole diatonic around, both to hold and to play. Unusually for a plastic-combed harp, the reed plates aren't recessed, but are mounted (with seven screws) to the comb in the sandwich style of wood-combed harps, so there's no protruding lip. Its sound is bright and reedy, with a nice rasp at the lower end, and despite being tuned to equal temperament, its chords are sweet-sounding, as evinced by Sonny T's favouring them toward the end of his career.

One of the nicest harps by Hohner . Bends less than a bluesy harp but allows you to do more single notes as the name suggests
