Used to luthier built instruments. Very pleased with the build quality. Your online illustrations did not do the guitar justice. Sould is fine but I have no way of comparing it with similar products. Let's just say I am pleased overall.

Beautifully made, lovely looks. In Chicago tuning DGBE, it real didn't sound that great. Maybe in the more normal CGDA it would have been as good as it looked. The base tone was not what I'd hoped for, but the base string was D, maybe that's the difference.

I have several different tenor-guitars including some solid-body electric models which I use in various alternative tunings to enable me to play in all keys with judicious use of a capo. This little Ozark does not have a truss-rod and therefore I will keep it in it's intended standard tuning of CGDA. However, despite this limitation it is a beautiful instrument and has a very sweet tone which will be perfect for some musical applications when run through a nice acoustic combo via the onboard Fishman pickup. It has a very nice feel to it when being played and it is very responsive. It has obviously been set up very well by the retailer, and at the moment it is probably my favourite out of all my tenor-guitars and banjos.
