I have tried many types of picks and even ordered some from USA. Nothing worked. I am so impressed with these poly freedom picks. they are comfortable to wear and don't feel too big. I will definately buy more of them and strongly recommend them

Without doubt, these are the best fingerpicks on the market. Yes they can be a little bit uncomfortable in the cuticle area but this is easily remedied by filing the underside of the pick, I have a set of draper mini files which are perfect to do this. If you do not have any files, a piece of sandpaper wrapped round the end of a pencil works just as well.

Bit expensive for what it is. I just wanted something to cover my nail when i strum, I still want to use finger tips for picking. I managed to cut this down to size and file it. the small size is way way too small. I ordered a large. Can't wear the small for any length of time without it hurting.

I only tried this interesting design to see if it's as good or maybe better than Alaska Piks. The answer to that is very much a question of taste and playing style, but I think I prefer the Alaska Pik for a nylon strung guitar. I would use this more for banjo picking. The plastic it is made of produces a rather dull tone on nylon strings, but a better sound on steel strings. It fits beautifully, though.

Fred Kelly Freedom finger picks for guitar.
These will take some getting used to, but are the best I've found so far. Didn't get on with Alaska picks.

As stated on the thumb pick review, I teach guitar and I've been a pro performer for over 35 years. The finger pick design appealed to me, which was why I bought them (the regular ones on sale I find to be useless). A pupil of mine had bought the medium size of these and they were way too small for me. I ordered the large size and they too were uncomfortably tight. I've heated and prised them so that they are a little less tight, which has taken some of the pressure off. I know that my fingers are nowhere near as wide as some guys I've taught, so I think these would be a total no no for them. Also I found them to be a bit painful where the plastic was pressing on the cuticle of my nail, which is where the edge tends to lie when pushed on to how I would use them. In use, I found the plastic nail part to be too thick and this dulled the sound. To rectify this, I filed them to a thinner, sharper edge to get that zing that a nail gives. If I were to offer any advice on how to improve on these picks, I would say, make them out of thinner plastic so that they made a crisper sound and weren't so uncomfortably tight around the finger. Maybe extend the rear of the pick so that it gripped close to the first knuckle rather than just tightly squeezing the finger pad. That way you could make them from thinner plastic, which with the extended grip would stay in place in use without strangling the feeling out of the finger tip.

Brilliant for finger up picking, clawhammer frailing, even as an alternative to flat pick - or even as a thimble for Irish tenor banjo.

Use finger and thumb picks ( Fred Kelly )for picking on autoharp.
I was recommended them by a friend, and do the same to others, in fact the last order was for a friend

The large size is actually quite small, but there is a bit of flexibility in the pick. I would recon that the small size would only fit very small children.

good quality. I bought a medium, which fitted my female middle finger snuggly for clawhammer banjo playing. A great design but am not sure about the sound it produces. It would be great if the company made the same item in brass!
