The choice of Dave Burland, ace guitarist and national treasure! The Patrick James Eggle Skyland dreadnought is full-bodied master of pickin licks. It is built primarily for flat pickers, however finger pickers alike love this guitar. The rich bass response and clear trebles give you the big sound you're looking for to stand out. The Skyland is very fast and responsive to the player.
The standard model has comes with classic PJE mother of pearl inlay from head stock to dot fret markers.

The Skyland is built from solid exotic hand selected timbers throughout, It has a solid sitka spruce top fitted with an ebony pin-bridge. the bridge pins are hand turned from ebony and inlaid with pearl. The bridge is fitted with a natural bone saddle that is hand worked to give precise intonation. The soundboard is decorated with a triple-ring herringbone sound hole rosette, the top-to-side binding is matching in herringbone inlays. A custom tortex shell scratch plate is fitted for protection.
The back and sides are built from solid Honduran mahogany.
The top, back and sides are fully bound to protect all body edges in traditional black/ivory coloured binding. The fast mahogany neck is a dream to play, it has a solid ebony fingerboard inlaid at the 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 12th & 15th frets with a classic mother of pearl dot marker. The hard steel frets are perfectly worked, rounded and polished precisely. Mini dot markers are also positioned into the side binding at the same frets.
The ebony faced headstock is inlaid with the distinctive 'PJE' in natural mother of pearl and fitted with a matched set of USA Waverley Vintage tuners for trouble free, extremely precise and positive tuning.
