Description
George places great importance on the apprearance, playing quality and reliability of his flutes. The flutes have a tuning slide and headcork tuner assembly in the headjoint. All ferrules are hallmarked with the Edinburgh hallmark and each wooden piece of the flute is stamped 'Ormiston', with the headjoint bearing the instrument number. The Ormiston concert flute is turned and hand crafted from solid ebony. It is a keyless flute and is supplied in a beautiful presentation box. The flute is in D and is tuned to A440.
