I have used these 'ultem' picks for acoustic guitar/mandolin, closest I have found to tortoishell. For guitar I use 0.94/1.07 but needed thinner ones for a tenor banjo, so ordered some 0.56 and 0.38. Not got 0.38's yet but the 0.56 work well with it.
