Description

Earl’s Suspender Capo, along with a number of other 5th String banjo capos, is a simple design that enables you to capo the 5th string without having to drill holes or alter your banjo in any way.

’Earl’s Suspender Capo’ is simple to use, and gets you into 'capoing' your banjo 5th string at a very modest price.

Earl’s Suspender Capo fits around the back of your banjo neck, it then clips over the top of the neck and frets the 5th string in the position of your choosing.

Please Note: Please take great care when using this budget priced 5th string capo ...Please move it around carefully when in use to ensure that the bottom metal tab identified as 'B' in the instructions, does not rub the finish on the underside of your banjo neck. Some enthusiasts put a little wrap of tape here.

• Easy to use
• No tools necessary

Comes complete with full user instructions.

Works great, easy to put on and take off! Might get in the way a tiny bit if you're going up and down the neck a lot but so far not an issue.

not sure about this, quite a clever idea, but pulls the 5th string. Perhaps needs a sharper bend on the metal bit. Shall persevere.

I got a travel banjo (SS-10 pony) I seldom use and didnĀ“t want to do the work of puttin spikes into it.

This does the job very well. I suspect the elastic will stretch with repeated use, so it is probably better to fit spikes, shubb, etc. if you intend to use it a lot, but for the infrequent key changer this is a cheap and easy to use alternative.

An essential piece of equipment for the banjo, as well as handy. Maybe a bit pricey for what it is, but it's a great product.
