Good quality, but using metal instead of plastic does nothing for me. The pick itself is too narrow for my taste.

i have just purchased propik thumb picks and they are the best i have ever used in 20 years of playing the 5 string banjo. they would also be great for finger style guitarists. i have also bought an ozark open back 5 string banjo a few months ago and was very impressed with the volume ,tone and general quality of the banjo.

Nice thumb pick, mix of metal grip and plastic attack.

I play an Auto-harp and was seeking a good thumb pick. saw this one in your web-page and thought it might be good. is not bad but
practically speaking, it is good for a forward strum over the strings but the strength of the metal wrap-around the thumb was insufficient for a reverse strum.

I intend to use these for playing Dobro Guitar and have yet to really put them to use but I am sure they will do the job

I've yet to find a thumb pick I can live with and this was no exception. The pick being uncomfortable with a tendency to rotate or drop off. The sound produced was almost as harsh as the all metal version? Maybe with some mods I can live with it but if you've been pickin' for forty years with a thumb nail then adapting ain't going to be easy!

The 'Thumb' pick won't stay on my thumb but I've since been told that for Dobro playing I need a 'plastic' one!

The metal band is excellent - robust and adjustable. Don't like the size and shape of the pick so much, but will persevere and also try the ProPik Thumb Flat
next order. High hopes for this in the long run and may well give it five stars next time.

Amazing; well-made and a good fit with great consistency and a nice not-too-hard-not-too-soft picking sound without pinching my thumb at all. Great if you're not using fingerpicks, and useful for an acoustic lap steel.

A little too short to be able to vary the angle of attack.
