Fitted fibreglass Guitar Case

When you need to get serious about protecting your pride and joy CALTON fitted fibreglass cases are without doubt the ultimate portable protection solution for your instrument.  

Rugged, well balanced and attractive hard shelled cases with interiors tailored to each instrument. Each half of every Calton case is hand moulded in a single piece, using pigmented resin, with no seams to separate and colour that is integral to the fibreglass (the finish on these cases is the best surface to apply all your freebie stickers we have come across!). All hardware is high quality plated steel, attached to the case with steel rivets and reinforcing plates. Careful attention is paid to the placement of the leather handle in order to provide the optimum in comfort and balance.

A PVC strip completely edges both top and bottom halves of the case. This strong, flexible strip, combined with the natural water repellent qualities of fibreglass, provides an almost perfect seal against the elements.
Case interiors are hand crafted from high quality foam padding, using up to 15 measurements and a template of the instrument. All interior surfaces are finished in crushed velour, and the pickbox is topped with a large foam pad that cushions the neck. The neck is further protected with a padded guide that restricts side-to-side movement.

The Standard Calton Case has a choice of 9 exterior and 7 interior colours.

Cases can be supplied in the following options;

CLASSIC : For Classic or Flamenco guitars as well as most other small bodied steel string guitars, such as the Martin 0-18.

OM : The case for OM, Grand Concert, 00, 000, Dobro, Classic and most other mid sized guitars.

JUMBO : For Dreadnoughts and other acoustics up to the J-200, including most 12-string Guitars and Archtops up to 17" bottom bout.

SUPER JUMBO : Designed for the Super 400 and other large Archtops.

ACOUSTIC BASS : Designed to fit most acoustic bass guitars

All Calton cases are custom orders and will take 4 - 6 weeks from date of order to delivery.
