The FT-800 has a large backlit LCD screen that is easy to read, it is so easy to use ...just clip it to your instrument, switch it on and read of the tuning as you pluck a string! When your string is in tune the needle lines up with the centre of the tuner, and the note that you are playing appears in the centre of the screen. it also displays if you are sharp or flat when tuning to a note.
