The Pedal steel Guitar is descended from the  Hawaiian guitar or lap steel guitar. They are used in many different styles of music and extensively in country music and jazz. For the un-initiated the world of pedal steel guitar is a mysterious one. There are very few steel guitar retailers in the UK and the choice for the newcomer and seasoned pro alike with regard to the pedal seel guitar is very limited.  However here at the Eagle Music Shop we have the ABM Rodeo Pedal steel Guitar!

With the "Rodeo" ABM have come up with an instrument suitable for the absolute beginner or gigging steel player.  Engineered and constructed in Germany  on an aluminium frame and skirted in beautiful high gloss mahogany the ABM Rodeo is an excellent choice where clarity of tone, and sustain are concerned.

The powerful humbucking pickup delivers a super clean signal. The keyless tuning system serves the purpose of keeping the weight of the instrument to a minimum. The guitar is very easy to set up and with practice it can be erected in it's sturdy flight case (supplied) ia a couple of minutes. The ABM Rodeo 10 string pedal steel guitar is tuned to the standard "E9" or "Nashville" tuning. It has three floor pedals and four knee levers. The "copedant" (a players preffered tuning/pedal set up) can be re arranged to suit the needs of most players.

Below is the Copedant for this particular Pedal steel Guitar.
