Clamshell Tailpiece

The 'Clamshell' nickel plated, spring loaded, classic design tailpiece often found on pre-war Gibson banjos. This tailpiece is also known as the 'Claw' tailpiece.

The 'Clamshell' taipiece can be fitted to 5-string and 4-string banjos. It is fully adjustable for angle and height and has a spring loaded cover plate.
