Beginning with quarters, there are two possible directions: either to the slower notes (half, dotted half and whole notes) or to the faster notes (eighth and sixteenth notes). Both methodic ways are equal.

Chapters for the rests have a similar structure. The presentation of new notes and rests combines little vivid tales with moving experiences of the children themselves (clapping, walking, and singing). The volume is suitable for instrumental classes in single lessons as well as in groups and also for foundation classes.
