The Sierra is the most popular Deering Plectrum banjo model because it is very affordable and you get all the important features that effect tone and playability. The mahogany neck is satin finished, precise and comfortable to play. The pot assembly is of the finest, 3-ply maple rim fitted with a top quality Deering sand-cast virgin bell bronze tone-ring and a one piece cast zinc flange, these features you will also find on the most expensive Deering banjos.
