Frank Torpey - Bodhran CD ROM

 In the beginners section Frank demonstrates the basic skills necessary to get you started on the bodhran. Simple rhythmic patterns for jigs and reels are then introduced. Topics covered include reading music, holding the drum and stick, concise wrist technique, simple jig and reel patterns and triplets.

The advanced section features more highly ornamented and rhythmically complex patterns. Topics covered include establishing a motor rhythm, additional triplets, rolls, swing rhythms, syncopation and fluid tonal movement.
