Ozark - 2038 5-String Travel Banjo with Deluxe Padded Gig Bag

The Pot Assembly…
The rim and ‘head’ are integral maple ply. The rim diameter is 279.40mm (11”) and a thickness of 17.46mm (11/16”). The rim has white binding  to comliment the sunburst finished ‘head’. Standard Loop ended banjo stings are fitted simply onto five nickel pillars on the bottom side of the rim. A single nickel plated rim rod is fitted for neck height adjustment. A standard regular ebony tipped 15.87mm (5/8”) maple bridge is fitted as normal onto the ‘head’.. The maple rim is dark brown stained and natural satin finished.

The Neck Assembly…
The neck is attached to the pot assembly with two lag bolts, it has a single nickel plated rim rod, which give you the facility to alter the ‘action’ of the banjo to suit your particular style of playing relative to the strings of your choice. The neck is fitted with a two way adjustable truss rod and is constructed from solid maple. The 17-fret rosewood fingerboard is inlaid with pearl dot markers at the 3rd, 7th, 10th,  & 12^th frets and also ,has white side dots at the 3rd, 5^th, 7th, 10th, 12^th & 15^th frets. The nickel silver fretwork is perfectly positioned, rounded and polished for a smooth playing action.

The geared 5th string tuner is adjacent the 5th fret. The nut is precisely cut and filed for a comfortable string action at the first position. The 5th string tuning peg has a screw to adjust the torque for positive tuning. The peg head (headstock) is finished in natural satin tiger stripe maple wit the ‘Ozark’ logo in black script. A set pearloid button, closed plate geared single, side-facing tuners are fitted. The tuners are nickel plated to match the hardware of the pot assembly. The neck is natural satin finished, to match the rim.

Comes complete with an Ozark padded gig bag, fitted with double rucksack type shoulder straps, and three outer zip / Velcro pouches.
