An excellent fair priced entry level, travel or second banjo to just leave around your house for a quick to pick up’ practice session. Please Note: A capo can be fitted to make this banjo into a shorter scale for young starters.

The Pot Assembly… The rim is built from mahogany-ply. The rim diameter is 279.40mm (11”) and a thickness of 19.05mm (1/2”). The rim also acts as the tone ring and produces a ‘warm’ sound. 12 bracket hooks are fitted to give even tension on the tension hoop. The tailpiece is a flat 'Elton' type that accepts ball or loop ended string. All metal work is chrome plated to a high standard. A milky 11” diameter Remo ‘weatherking’ plastic head is fitted (top side coated) along with an ebony tipped 15.87mm (5/8”) maple bridge. The rim is stained in the pre-war ‘Gibson-style’ brown mahogany and is satin finished.

The Neck Assembly… The neck is attached to the pot assembly with a single lag bolt and a single coordinating rim rod which give you the facility to alter the ‘action’ of the banjo to suit your particular style of playing relative to the strings of your choice. The neck is constructed from solid mahogany and is fitted with an internal adjustable steel truss rod. The 19 fret fingerboard is inlaid with dot pearl inlays at the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 10th, 12th, and 15th frets. The nickel silver fretwork is perfectly positioned, rounded and polished for smooth playing. The nut is precisely cut and filed for a comfortable string action at the first position. The peg head (headstock) is black flat stained with the name ‘Ozark’ in gold script. A black plastic ‘bell’ shape truss rod cover is fitted. A set of covered plate-geared, side facing tuners are fitted. The tuners are chrome plated to match the hardware of the pot assembly. The neck is stained and satin finished, to match the resonator and body.
