Phil Davidson - Hand Built

A beautiful hand built ukelele with a vintage-era tone and volume. The build quality of this instrument is a pleasure to handle. The back and sides are made from seasoned walnut and fitted with a solid spruce soundboard.

All edges are protected and fully bound in natural maple purfling. An ebony bridge is fitted to the soundboard housing a corian saddle for maximum transmission of sound vibration from the black nylon strings.

A classic style triple laminate walnut and maple neck is fitted to the body. The ebony fingerboars has pearl dot markers. The bone nut is presisely slotted for perfect action. The headstock is faced in ebony to match the fingerboard and bridge, a distinctive natural abalone Davidson 'D' is inlaid in headstock.

Four ivoroid button back facing 'Uke' tuners are fitted to the headstock. An ebony end-pin is fitted to the body. This fine quality instrument is finished in natural highly polished gloss.
