The flamed maple back and sides are stained in traditional brown mahogany and fully bound in cream binding. The selected close grained solid spruce sounboard has an attractive soundhole rossette, maple and ebony bridge and Gibson 'A' style plate tailpiece, the 'slide-off' engraved cover facilitates easy string changing, the tailpiece is designed to accept loop end strings. The mahogany neck is fitted with an adjustable truss-rod. The fully bound rosewood fingerboard is inlaid with pearl moon and star motifs. The headstock is fitted with precision quality back facing planetary geared banjo tuners, the headstock is also inlaid with a moon and star motif. A clean high gloss finish completes the value. This novel instrument has been modelled on a 1930s era classic. It has a clean and bright tone. Amazing sound when fitted with electrics for on-stage performance!
