Browsing our site

Use the navigation buttons on the left hand column to navigate to our major shopping categories, after clicking a link you will be taken to the home page for that category. Here you may choose from a list of sub categories, again located in the left column. Each major category home page also contains other useful information including technical advice relevant to that category, links of interest etc. Whilst looking through products in any category you will see a breadcrumb type trail developing near the top centre of each page which you can click on to move back through the pages you have viewed. Use the blue buttons along the top of each page to view our informational pages including home, visit our shop, meet the team etc.

Searching our site

Use the search field at the top right hand column of any page to find what your looking for with ease and speed. As you type in your search phrase you will see that search term suggestions appear dynamically below the search box, you can either select one of these if relevant or just type and click go or hit the return button.

Our shopping cart

Every page on the site contains a brief shopping cart preview so you can easily keep track of the number of items in your basket and the running cost. For a full review of your shopping cart simply click on the shopping basket link at the top of every page.

Our product information

Once you reach the product listing for any particular product sub category you will be shown a list of available products including a thumbnail image and a brief description. At this stage you can filter your results by brand / artist / author, re-order the products by price, code etc etc, you can also change the number of products you would like to be displayed per page. Click on the thumbnail image or product name to view full details and buying options. Once at the details page you can click on the larger product image to view an even larger detailed image. Many of our products will have multiple photographs of the product, clicking on additional thumbnails will change the medium sized image. This details page will also recommend other related products that may also be of interest to you. You will also see a list of extra features at this stage including links to brand information if appropriate, and links to a printer friendly version of the page, email this page to a friend, write a review, enquire on this product plus more!

Discounts

Certain products including our own Eagle-Newtone traditional instrument strings offer discounts on order quantities. You will be notified of these discounts where applicable. In most cases the discounts are based on a quantity and percentage discount.

Site security and credit card information

Our site is authenticated and secured by a Thawte SSL secure web server authentic site certificate. This offers secure communications by encrypting all data to and from the site at the point of entering any personal information via our checkout. The Thawte authentic site seal is located on the right hand column of our home page and can be clicked to verify, On the checkout pages you will also see a padlock within the browser address bar which can also be clicked on for verification.

We use the industry standard Sage Pay payment gateway which is level 1 PCI DSS compliant. We do not store credit card information at our database level and we do not transfer any card details via email.

Alternatively to our standard Sage Pay payment gateway you can also choose to pay by PayPal.

For your extra peace of mind our website is also McAfee secure, providing assurance that our eCommerce platform is safe from hackers. You can verify by clicking the McAfee secure logo at the top right of every page on our site.

Changing the currency of prices 

We have made it easy for overseas customers to view the prices of our products in a number of currencies. We ship goods to customers all over the world. To change your currency just click on the appropriate flag in the right hand column. Exchange rates are checked and updated regularly. Although the site will display in an alternative currency your order will come to us as sterling.

Your personal information

The first time you shop on our site you will be asked to provide us with your address and delivery information, you will also be asked to provide an email address and password. Your email address will be used as your login/username and for your order confirmation. This information is stored in our database so that next time you shop on our site you can quickly log in rather than filling in your details each time. The only information you are required to provide each time you shop are your credit card details. You can rest assured that we shall never pass your personal details on to any third party.

Updating your personal details

If your personal details have changed you can easily update them by clicking the link on the checkout page.

Forgotten password

If you cant remember your password to login with simply click on the forgotten password link and an automated email will be sent to your email address with your password. Simple!

Order confirmation

Once you have completed the checkout process you will be sent a confirmation of your order by email. This email will contain your delivery information plus the items in your cart. We would advise that if possible, you add eaglemusicshop.com to your SAFE LIST within your email settings. This will prevent any automatic emails being sent from our web server being flagged as spam (when they are not!).

Website problems

Click on the community link at the top of the home page to enter the forum.

I cant find what I want!

If the item you are looking for cannot be found on our site please contact us by email or telephone.

VAT issues

Vat is included on all products on our site where applicable. For overseas customers we shall remove the relevant tax amount from your total cost as applicable, you shall be notified of this by email.

Postage

On all UK orders, postage & packing will be charged and added to your grand total based upon the weight of the items in your cart.
Overseas customers will be contacted by email and advised of shipping charges. Once overseas customers confirm these costs your order will then be dispatched.

Printing out from our site

If you wish to print off any information from our site we recommend that you first go to page setup and select landscape for the page orientation. You may also wish to select print background images for the closest match to our site design. Our product details pages have a link to a printer friendly page.
