Clifford Essex Concert Grand Plectrum Banjo

Circa 1930's, very playable Clifford Essex Concert Grand Plectrum Openback Banjo from the glory days of the plectrum banjo. Excellent punchy tone with a nice low action. Features Whyte Ladye tone ring, 28 Bracket hooks and nuts with bracket band, ebony fingerboard, decorative mother of pearl headstock inlay and side dot markers. Hardly any fretwear at all. **SOLD** A nice example of a Keech 1930s uke banjo, complete with original case (functional but no handle). Serial No. A14417 signed on the back of the pot by Alvin Keech. New replacement calfskin velum fitted. Plays and sounds authentic.

Paramount Style 'A' Tenor Banjo **SOLD**

**SOLD**Built by William L. Lange of Rettburg & Lange, USA circa. 1925. Serial No.3191. This is a fine example of a 19 fret tenor banjo from the golden era of banjo making. In excellent condition with original hardshell case. Setup and playing perfectly. The calfskin vellum could be changed to a modern 11" mylar head if this suits the player.
